ML Depth i with black ash top for sale. I am the first owner and I haven’t put many hours on it. It is still breaking in. The sound has improved while I have used it and I think that will continue with the next owner. I am selling two of these in separate ads in case nobody wants two of them. Having two subs is better that having one, and at this price you can have two for what one of the newer really good subs cost. The Depth i is currently being sold by the online discounters for $2,000 for a demo and $2,100 to $2,200 for a new one. The ML website has all the information you need to know about them. If not, I’ll try to answer any questions. There are a lot of great reviews online, both pro and user, to help fill out the story. This one is 7/10 because of some nicks that were there when I received them. (see photo) What I have learned from my experience with them: They will do 20Hz. They are very fast and produce a tight, but not too tight, bass. The 8 inch cones are easier to control than larger cones. The three 8 inch cones do cancel out each other’s backwave. The cabinets don’t vibrate at all. They will play as loud as you want, unless you’re trying to become deaf and even then they will probably do the job. Connecting the preamp out to the sub and then from the sub to the amp with RCA interconnects sounds better than connecting them in a chain with your speakers using speaker cable. Going from the preamp to the sub to the amp is remarkably transparent. I really couldn’t hear any loss of sound quality in my main speakers while doing this. I’m still not sure what the deal with the triple servo is. I thought it meant a separate servo system for each cone but the ML info page makes it sound like each cone has a triple servo system. That mystery will be left to the new owner to solve. I have the original boxes, manual, rounded plastic feet, height adjustable cone feet (there are two sets of feet), controls cover and power cords. Everything that came with them new. Buyer pays shipping and 3% Papal, if used. Feel free to ask any questions you have.
