I have here 4 ITC Series 750 playback only broadcast RTRs that I acquired from a local radio station. These are all 1/2 track 7.5ips machines. Again, playback only. These were extremely dependable and some of the tags on them show service into the late 80's. I believe these were in use til the early nineties. However, they have sat ever since and are in need of work. The rubber on the rollers all needs replacing for starters. I have not been able to test them for that reason but I believe they will all power on. One unit is missing a metal cover over a circuit board- doesn't affect functionality though. These are all sold as fixer uppers for $100 each plus shipping. Given the rarity, build quality and original price these sold for (very expensive when new), I feel this is a steal for the buyer trying to find high end playback RTR machines similar to the best Ampex's, Studers, etc. of this era- no joke. The radio station owner claimed these were better than all of them. Anyway... I would be interested in trades for other audio too- DACs, tonearms, B&K/Acurus/ McCormack gear, tube separates... throw something at me.
