Revox G36 MK III Tape Deck. I recently acquired this deck from a long-time audiophile along with several other pieces. The deck looks very good and basically shows moderate general wear. The heads look great. The deck has the front cover but is missing the back cover. I think someone could fairly easily make a suitable back cover or simply find a donor unit. The deck has the complement of original Philips Miniwatt tubes which are probably worth close to what I am asking for the deck. I have done very little testing though I did rig a power cord and plug it in. The unit powered up and the basic functions (Play, FF, REW, etc) appeared to work. I did not test it with a tape to see if it would pass a signal. I am sure it will require some maintenance and adjustment. With a little TLC, this will make someone a fantastic deck. These are superb units with their tube circuitry. Unit is very heavy, Buyer pays $50 shipping in CONUS. I will cover PayPal fees.
