The ET is one of the great classic tonearms, and is still supported by ET but is up to a 2.5 model now at $3500 !This one has the original low pressure manifold, but can be upgraded to a higher pressure manifod with a corresponding increase in sound quality if a higher pressure pump is used. I still own an ET and run it at 35 psi (I use an airbrush compressor)and I believe it will hold its own against a Graham or Triplanar (my opinion of course). Of course, I have rewired my personal arm, running pure silver wire, but the arm for sale is stock and comes with the Takatsuki pump. Copper wire is the standard. The Takatsuki pump is still manufactured and replacement diaphragms are still availble should you have any trouble, but the list price is now over $550 ! Last I checked replacement diaphraghms were about $35. Included is the pump, some hose, a Linn LP-12 armboard drilled for the arm (works well with the Linn). A skate plate(blank disc)will also be provided for setting the level. No Mounting jig, however, although they are available from ET. The Maplenoll and Walker are all take offs of the original Bruce Thigpen design. It lends itself well to upgrades and DIY tweaks, if you so desire.
