Classic Shure-SME Series IIIs. Comes with the optional damping trough and collar but paddles MIA , priced accordingly- everything else is there - counterweight, headshell screws ,cueing lever, anti-skate, adjustable base, the original one meter RCA cable with "SME" marked plugs and brass grounding screw, cartridge leads, 3 lead weights etc.
Two nice features of this version are the female RCA jacks at the arm base allowing the use of your own interconnects as well as the availability of extra wands at pretty reasonable prices to allow easy cartridge swapping . May not have the cachet, or price, of the v II but still a classic SME build. Great match for Thorens, Ariston, AR , Lenco, etc
Series 1 headshell and a satin chrome finish on the arm wand. Good ,clean example - no apparent nicks , marks or abrasions- all lettering is crisp and clear. Rated 8/10 only due to age .
