Up for sale, a set of 4 Amperex ECC88 6DJ8 tubes, made in Holland, 1959-60. Labelled for Hewlett Packard. These are the same as Bugle Boys and have the delta etched on from Heerlen plant. Most of the print is still clear. 3 are O getter, one is D getter. Used, removed from a HP electronics lab test instrument. All 4 have a green painted tip indicating that, when new, they were matched, high-spec tubes. Never used in amplifiers. The real thing - none are A-frame. Would be great in an Audible Illusions preamp.Test high on Hickok 539C tester, all sections between 10,000 and 11,500+ gm (minimum 7700). 12-15mA current draw each triode section.
