One tube only. This tube has only around 20 hours on it. It still needs to be broken-in. Priced well below "wholesale" and sold "as-is".This is the "X" version, and extremely rare now, having been discontinued years ago. It was designed to handle higher voltages than ordinary 300B tubes. Fabulous performance and built like a "battleship". It sounded superb with the Golden Tube 300B amplifier, but it did NOT work with the Coincident Frankenstein amplifier. I don't understand why, but I assume it must require higher voltages and bias, so I can NOT guarantee that it will work with any particular amplifier, with the one exception of the already mentioned Golden Tube. One person also informed me that it worked well with the Art Audio Jota amplifier. Important- One picture shows a carton that normally contains TWO tubes, but ONLY ONE of them is for sale. Also, the carton serial numbers do NOT align with the tube actually for sale. No Paypal.
