I have others for those interested (identical), so if this sells, contact me via this or another item.CONUSA SALES ONLY, sorry, I do not have time to ship international--however--fine folks in Canada may contact me on this. Thanks. I have around 1,000 only positive feedback reviews on Ebay and Agon. The new Agon perturbs me greatly, hence, I will start listing here. Satisfaction is always assured, of course. These are the very earliest versions, and sound the best, which is typical for tubes--no one can say why. Selling as A-NOS used Hickok TV-10A/U (min is 1400)
2250/2400
2240/2400 Eico 666 (where 100% is NOS specification relative to a standard):
112/116
110/114 While the labels are gone, you can trust that these are authentic Hytron 5814, made in '51-'52, a couple of years before CBS acquired the great Hytron name. A worthy entry into any 12AU7 collection. In fact, based on considerable consensus, King of the hill in 12AU7 for USA. Made in the golden era of '12A*7' production ('49-'52, when Holland and Germany were still in the caves). These earliest versions in this listing are more desirable, because they sound significantly more refined. With clearly stated data from 2 testers, and with respect to my Feedback, buy with total confidence. If you do a bit of searching on Audio Asylum, you may find these are considered in the top tier of 12AU7 tubes. They do everything right and nothing wrong. I invited an audiophile over to compare these to Mullard 1956 Long Plate-Square Getter NOS 12AU7 in my highly modded Heath W5 Monoblocks on Hammer Dynamic S-12 speakers. We could not hear significant differences in sound! You impressions may vary--but--you will like these tubes. Their sound will surprise you. Almost all my spare pairs are sold--these and maybe another remain.
