Here's an assortment of extra signal tubes that I had lying around that I no longer have use for, and would love to share a few of them - so I'm downsizing and only keeping enough to last me hopefully the rest of my life.

As I've become somewhat of a hoarder of late - I just came to realize instead of sitting on these tubes - why not just offer the ones I've more then enough of?, so here goes.

(1) Matsushita 12AU7 and 12AX7 Long Grey Plates w/. Large O 45 degree inclined Getter NOS 1963/67 Japan $50/pr.

* [ Often referred to ask the Japanese Mullard as they were designed with the same tooling Mullard once used in one of their 5 factories in the U.K. ]. [ 2 pairs of each ].

(2) Westinghouse/CONN Organ labeled 12AU7 Long Black Plates w/. D Double Bar Getter NOS 1950/56 $50/pr

* [ One of those often overlooked names after the likes of RCA - Raytheon - Sylvania and earlier versions of Ken-Rad prior to the buy out by GE - and in fact one of the best sounding domestic versions many simply have slept on due to lack of a designer tag, and nothing else - in fact it puts most other American made tubes to shame ]. [ 3 pairs ].

(3) Mazda 12AU7 Short Grey Half Plate w/. Large O Getter Dual Rod Getter Supports NOS 1956/59 Made in France. $120/pr.

* [ A very very quiet tube, which has a great emphasis on spotlight the emotional properties behind any/every vocal recording put in front of them - there are what I tend to use more with any sort of genre of music recorded between 1957 throughout the 70's when recording engineers cared more about their craft compared to current re-issues that alter things as a means of obtaining extended top end at the expense of beauty and tonality, as well as one of the most refined 12AU7s, I've heard short of ones produced in say the RCA - Sylvania and Philips owned factories , regardless of what some experts might have you believe otherwise ]. [ 6 pairs ].

(4) Siemens 12AU7 Silver/Chrome Plate w/. Large O Getter NOS 1959/62 Made in Germany $125/pr.

* [ These are the ones I rely upon more then any other brand when I want to experience acoustic jazz recordings at their best - as these are very very responsive to shifts in the notes themselves it's scary ]. [ 4 pairs ].

So, there we've it - I only have 1 - 5 pairs of these tubes, and you tube lovers have to be aware of that old adage - there's a tube for every amp circuitry - it's just a matter of knowing what you hear - as opposed to not hearing.

Weird, I know - but read between the lines for therein lies the story. Many Americans simply aren't aware of the better sounding tubes as we were mislead into thinking there were only three names worthy of ownership - well, it just wasn't so.

We allowed a lot of better sounding/made brands slip through our fingers because we followed the thread instead of trusting in our own ears/sense, so here's an opportunity to right some of those wrongs.

And, I've to ask a question - why aren't more people pursuing Japanese made tubes from the 1950s through 1969 or thereabouts, instead of settling on current production Russian or Chinese made tubes?, when in fact if one thinks about it for a moment, are the Japanese producing some of the better sounding/made tube components out there to day - bar none?, and by them having more money to invest in tube factories then most, wouldn't their tubes reflect this quality as well?.

Just something to think about - before pursuing those Chinese tubes, as always if you're able to read between the lines on what I'm getting at?, then you're already one step ahead of many others whom don't understand money equals quality when it comes to tube manufacturing on a whole.

Call today - operators are standing by to except any/all response.

All tubes have been tested on a recently calibrated Jackson 648, as well as visually checked for flashing activity and the likes - in other words I'd not attempt to sell bad tubes knowingly, in much the same way I'm very very very funny about what I buy as well.

Can provide photos once contact is made - as I'm old school and don't know how to download them here - but have them in my photo section on either of my iDevices..

On a serious note - thanks for viewing my ad, and I hope to hear from you!.

Regards, O_o scar
