The First tuner made by the upstart engineers who left Kenwood and started a new company (Kensonic) and they called their products Accuphase. And what a tuner it is---all 32 lbs unpacked and with Josephs Chows (Audio Horizons) upgrades to the audio signal pathways. The tuner was built as discrete output to begin with. Not easy to improve on that. Replacing aged caps is a part of the upgrade which would help. I have a pic of the work performed and as well you will notice the white wiring which is a part of the upgrade.
Just back from a bulb replacement which while the job was done well the cost was a gouge. Such are the times.
At any rate, It sounds fabulous. Only selling to lighten the load. Will be lovingly packed as only a fanatic packer can do---most always even better than a dealer you might buy from. Unfortunately , due to the gouging on the bulb replacement ($210!) the price is higher than I would like. You will hear FM at its finest. Of course -- If at all possible you owe it to yourself to be grabbing that signal via a rooftop rotatable yagi antenna. Makes all the difference in the world. It ensures the best sound quality obtainable via analog airwaves. I will also need 3% for paypal. Shipping will be actual cost. Rating of unit 8/10 is for age only. Operation is excellent in every respect and all functions work as intended. See my feedback at Audiogon as well. The manual is readily available at HI FI Engine. And there is this---

I am always open to negotiation.
