The Ariston RD 60 is a three point suspended belt drive turntable that comes with a Jelco/Enigma arm as standard equipment. This one is in pristine condition, I didn’t even need to buff the dustcover. It has original box, packing and owners manual- this table is pristine. There are a couple of things that I really like about this table; the sprung suspension is inverted from the normal- this means less unwanted bounce like on the Sota tables, it is a better design. The second thing is all the shielding and grounding, this is a very quiet table as far as background noise goes (it also helps that it has a new ceramic ball bearing). It comes with a little container of oil for the bearing.
We did our normal damping on the bottom (plus some “extras” and the top of the unit, but it didn’t need much as the table is made out of MDF like the modern tables- talk about being ahead of your time! We also did our damping of the dustcover by the hinges so you can play records with the cover on. The platter also has some damping on the bottom. (this will be double boxed for shipping)
