This was my first turntable with the classic look, floating chassis and built-in plexi cover. I recently upgraded to something 5 times the cost (although probably not 5 times the quality). I believe the cartridge is a Shure.This unit is in good physical condition and the belt was replaced ~2 years ago. The only issue that I noticed is that on some records the arm doesn't play to the end of the record, which I'm told can be fixed with a minor adjustment. I was planning to due a full recondition of the unit given it's age, but just don't have the time (I'm therefore rating it a conservative 5 despite the beautiful cosmetics). I'd prefer a local sale as don't have experience with the particulars of shipping turntables (I'm in the Northern Virginia/DC metro area). PayPal add 3%.
