Here we have a Micro Seiki RX 5000 'table with the serial number matching RY 5500 motor.This sale can also include the original RX 5000 arm board AX-7G and the MAX 282 arm with a SC wand for an additional $2000. All components are 100% original and 100% operational. Please see the photos ( many many more are available) for the good cosmetic condition. This TT was part of a high end system that was inherited and has not been used for several years. The Pb bearing is 100% intact and operated as new as does the motor. The platter had a deep oxidation that has been hand lapped with jeweler's rouge to a very nice ( but not perfect ) shine. The plinth, arm board and motor housing all have some small mars in the paint. The arm is original to the TT and operates like new. The 5 pin Din cable by Micro Seiki is also included but one of the conductors has a cut in the insulation. It still operates but the wire is exposed. Photos are available. Note: The RX 5000 and RY5500 combo can and does compete with current offerings in the 20K range. Custom armboards are available to fit a wide variety of arms so one could easily purchase the 'Table and motor and use the arm of their own choice. This TT is located in the US but can be shipped via freight worldwide. Anvil style cases will be purchased at the buyer's expense to properly pack and protect the TT during transit. If the buyer is in the US I can deliver along most of the east coast I will answer any pertinent questions. This is a used turntable package and carries NO warranty of any kind. It will not arrive DOA because it works. Paypal users will pay the 2.9% fees they charge me. I much prefer MO or checks ( after they clear).
