The Source Turntable, a serious attempt by its designer to build a higher performing belt drive turntable than the Linn LP 12, the Oracle, and others, It features a 16 lb two piece bronze platter, very high quality bearing, vinyl covered galvanized steel deck with 5 point sprung steel sub-chassis rather than the usual 3 springs, enabling the use of heavier tonearms, and much easier to set up, as side ways motion is much easier to control, a thick solid mahogany base rather than the usual half inch veneerd plywood base, 24 volt DC Pabst motor, and upgraded 24 volt DC power supply rather than the usual wall wart. The result is a superb turntable, dead quiet, allowing music to flow out of a black background Includes the turntable, brass feet, and power supply only. The tonearm, record weight, platter mat shown in several pictures are not included, as have been sold. For more information, see the link below This should sell for much more than my asking price, but most people are not familiar with it. Specs show noise at 80 db down. Unlike many belt drive tables, this unit has superb bass.
