I have a refurbished Technics SP10 Mk2A turntable and PSU for sale for $1300. I didn't do the work myself but I can put you in touch with the guy who did it. What was done is:PSU (SH-10e): Replaced all electrolytic Cap, fuses, regulator transistors and indicator bulb; disable 140dc supply (not needed with the LED strobe). Motor unit: Replace Crystal oscillator and capacitors; Replace all electrolytic caps; Replace drive transistors; Replace switch and indicator as (needed only); Electronic calibration; Mechanical calibration. I removed the mechanical braking mechanism but you can easily re-install it. This unit looks and sounds great. I can provide more pictures on request.
