For Sale: Thorens TD124 Serial no. 2729
This is for the motor unit (only) in fully refurbished condition
The buyer will need to provide a tonearm, a cartridge and a cabinet (plinth) to hold the TD124 motor unit. A suitable armboard to match tonearm choice will also be needed. (I may be able to provide an armboard depending on the arm to be used.)
The restoration of this unit, #2729 has been fully documented at The Analog Dept website. Since its initial refurbishment it has been maintained and upgraded continuously. Please regard this as a refurbished demo unit. In addition to the refurbishment of all necessary maintenance points it has performance upgrades. This is the first of three TD124 motor units that I own. And it is the one with the best cosmetic condition in the group.
