This is an extremely rare Accuphase power conditioner that I purchased in 2016 because the place I was living in at the time had horrific noise on the power lines and the voltage fluctuated way more than I was happy with. I have had all of the usual suspects that pose as 'power conditioners' (Shunyata, Tara Labs, Richard Gray, etc). Even better than the 1990s and early 2000s PS Audio power conditioners (which are darned good!), the Accuphase power conditioners are the best. If you need a power conditioner (and depending on where you live, some people really need them), this is the last one you will ever have to buy. They truly suck the power out of the wall, hold it, clean it, and then re-deliver it with a perfect waveform. 90% of the other power conditioners are just lame filtration devices. And before somebody gets their feelings hurt and messages me to tell me how wrong I am (or asks advice on what they should buy), do your homework in the field and live with a variety of power conditioners while moving around from city to city with varied power supply lines.

Put simply, the Accuphase 'clean power supply' truly does what it says it will do. These units are slightly lighter than an air conditioner you would stick in your wall. And that alone is only one of the (major) reason as to why they are far better than the competition. There is a MASSIVE transformer in there. If your 'clean power supply' rig does not have a massive transformer, then it is posing hard. To be fair, I think PS Audio has been at the forefront of trying to solve this problem in our hobby (getting clean power in the system!), but they have created a few clunkers along the way. Accuphase has been quietly putting a bulky and heavy (and extremely effective) solution on the market for years. They're expensive and extremely hard to find on the used market here in the USA. Lots of gray market Accuphase gear over here, so caveat emptor when you buy anything Accuphase.

This is a true 120v version which was sold through a North American dealer. It has the original box, packaging, and manual. Shipping will expensive ($90+ in the lower 48) and I am only selling in the US (I will ship to Alaska and Hawaii, but it will be $200). The faceplate and top are very clean (I am rating the unit an 8 out of 10). Read the great review on the PS-520 (the direct descendent of the PS-510) on Positive Feedback back in 2012 for an idea of what this beautiful piece could do for your system.

Only selling for two reasons: 1. Because I had a beautiful baby boy a few months ago and my main system (which has taken years to assemble very carefully) is being massively trimmed down 2. The neighborhood where I live now; in a house that I own, rather than the crummy apartments I have lived in previously, actually has very decent, clean, and consistent power

I paid a lot for this 2-hand unit 3 years ago, and it took me a few years of patient searching for this one to appear. Rating it an 8 for age just to be conservative. Should be a 9. Lowballers will be politely ignored.

Happy Listening!
