Burson Soloist, handcrafted in Australia. The one that put Burson on the map. In excellent condition in original box; however, there is one scratch on top of the amp. Hardly used. Perfect functionality. A surprisingly transparent preamp with the right touch of warmth, which has three gain settings, three inputs, one SE/RCA Out and stepped volume control. No pops or clicks. The best SS headphone amp I have owned, very powerful at 4 Watts--can drive HE speakers! Superb with my Senn 600/650; HiFiman HE560, AKG 702, and my other phones.

I will post or Email pics if there is interest.

I have tried the down-sized Soloist SL, there is no comparison to my ear. I have tried MANY SS headphone amps and sold them all after buying The Burson Soloist HA-160. The clarity, sound-stage width and especially depth were just what I was hoping for. I can listen for hours with no fatigue--and this is why I am selling. Hearing in my left ear is down 7 dB due to childhood middle ear issues. So, I am reserving my listening pleasures mainly to speaker systems. I'll miss it for the synergistic match made in heaven with my BD Amiron Home phones--just glorious, as well as my HifiMan HE-560, which this Burson drove better than ANY other amp I've owned (sadly, these phones are out of commission).

No PP fee. CONUSA shipping only. I will answer all inquiries from folks providing a user ID having feedback on any of the audio sites.

I am second owner, I bought it in mint condition from original owner, hence the 8/10 rating. Someone should enjoy this that has excellent phones--esp. low impedance, but this will drive hi impedance phone as well as any tube amp I ever owned.

Will post pics on legitimate request. Despite that Burson sold thousands of the original Soloist HA-160, they hardly ever come up for sale.

Again, this is the original HA-160 model with 3 inputs (look like Cardas) and 3 gain settings, and the fine stepped resistor-ladder volume control.

PS: I used this as a preamp with the NuForce STA200 I am also putting up for sale, which together were also a remarkable sounding combo--transparent, slightly warm in vocals, linear-but-not-lean in mid-bass and with great extension, and dead quiet.

Thanks

PS: I am isolated nowadays, so no worries whatsoever.
