This is a Decware PROTOTYPE, Rachael Amplifier.
-On 3/6/2015 I purchased this amp from a trusted Decware forum member who told me that this particular piece was a prototype.
-On 4/1/2015 this amp was sent back to Decware for a warranty transfer and a new set of tubes. I will include the original receipt proving the warranty transfer and purchase of new tubes. [All new tubes are included in this sale.]
-I have several Decware pieces and just wanted to add this amp to my collection. I have listened to this piece for just a few hours and the new tubes have less than 10 hours on them...it still sounds wonderful.
-It is time for me to pass this amp on to someone that will use it.
-Please look at the accompanying pictures as this is a one of a kind Rachael:
a. One picture shows the input knob with 1,2,3,4 and tape positions marked on the surface of the amp.
b. BUT, there is only one set of RCA connectors on the back of the amp, thus one source. (I would think that Decware could rewire this amp to accommodate more sources).
c. I believe that this discrepancy proves that this was a prototype amp used to test different electronics in the build room, so, THE AMP DOES INDEED HAVE TWO VOLUME CONTROLS.
d. The amp is in better than "7" condition but I rated it a "7" for its age. The plastic speaker knobs on the back are only discolored from age and screw down just fine.
-I am asking $1150.00 for this piece of Decware history which includes a set of barely used tubes, and fedex insured shipping within the 48 states. This piece will of course be double boxed.
-I spoke to Steve Deckert on 11/04/2021 and he told me that the Decware waiting list for new products is approaching 12 months.
