The Super X is the premium version of the classic Don Garber Fi X 2a3 amplifier, with Magnaquest transformers and many other upgraded components. This amp can be used with either 2a3 tubes at 3 ½ watts per channel, or 45 tubes at 1 ¾ watts per channel. Included are two new JJ 2a3 tubes, two Sovtek 2a3 tubes, and two Emission Labs 45 tubes. To complete the tube set included are two 6FS5 tubes, the 5V4 rectifier tube to use with the 2a3’s, and a 5Y3GT rectifier for use with the 45’s. The unit works perfectly. Rated 8 for age only. Original owner, used in smoke-free home office.
