For the true ipod fanatic out there. This is the Cambridge Audio "digital converter dock". Simply put it takes the digital signal out of a variety of ipod and related devices and outputs a digital signal in either coax, toslink or balanced. It includes a remote that functions like an Apple one offering playback etc as well as charging . Comes with a variety of adaptors for use with different models. It is compatible with the iPad, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS and iPhone 3G (Airplane mode recommended), iPod Touch (1st, 2nd and 3rd generation), iPod Classic and iPod Nano (3rd, 4th, and 5th generation). Have no ideal if it works with a lightning adaptor as I don't use Apple products. NOTE: IPod classic pictured not included.
