For sale MSB Platinum DAC III Signature and MSB Platinum CD III Transport. Needs no introduction, rarely seen for sale in excellent condition.
Took as trade-in from a client who cabled his entire system with Nightingale Audio cables and bought my Signature streamer. I was putting a good streaming system together for him (also listed now) when he decided to upgrade his DAC.
Far as R2R DACs are concerned this is cream of the crop; Dynamic Range 136 dBA MEASURED, Noise floor < -145 dB, THD+N .002, Signal to Noise ratio 140 dB, Channel separation >130 dB. Transport connected via MSB Link to the DAC out performs a Jays CDT2 MKIII connected via AES. Far exceeds my asking price price in value. Will only be sold as a combo and will not separate. I also have a great USB/Streaming package put together for this DAC system, Uptone Audio EtherREGEN ethernet switch, M2Tech Hiface EVO 2 USB interface, 10M External master clock etc (Listed for sale on a separate listing). All you need is a power amp and speakers you are good to go.
