This concoction is ready to play. I meant to put it in a nice case but of course never got to it and now during a move it's easier for me to let it go as I have too much gear anyway. The DAC has a regulated power supply and is wired for the SPDIF input as per the Soekris schematic, using a Murata isolation transformer. If you want to use I2S, it's very easy to hook up, if you want optical or USB, it'll require extra parts. All easy to do -- just do your research. Great sounding dac -- let alone for the money. Price is FIRM.
