I have this listed on another auction site, but this is something that someone at the asylum is sure to have good use for!Hello, this is a used Alps HQpro 50k stereo potentiometer. I believe that this model predates the last run that was called rk50, but I'm not sure. What I am sure of is that I got the pot new from my tech who purchased it intending to build an ultimate preamp that he never got to building. So, the pot was new when I got it and I installed it in my Audio Note preamp. It would still be there, but my preamp needs a 100k pot, and this one is 50k and so I only had it installed for a couple of weeks. In that time, I can say I got the best sound I have ever had from a potentiometer--much better than the Noble it replaced. Tests and measures as new. Physically, it is a 7/10 with the pins having been soldered (by me, per above) and the body having some installation and shelf wear. The shaft is a beefy 8mm and is a solid, smooth turning device. This is much heftier than any pot I've ever seen in both overall weight and the solidity of the turning. I guarantee it will not be DOA. But after you install it, no returns.
