This is the last of the "old guard" Black Cat & related cables I have. I have settled with some of Chris Sommovigo's newer cables, made just prior to his very current offerings. While Chris was also working Black Cat Cable, he did some things outside those normal operations, hence why he named it After Hours Audio. Those products are the pre-cursors to the current incredible line-up, and offer great sound for not big $. Offering here a 1M XLR pair of the SuperLeggera Blu XLR cable. Per Chris' description: "Now we move on to the last After Hours offer I will be doing from the USA - the SuperLeggera Blu. This is an interesting cable in that it is both quote simple and yet a little complex. On the one hand it is "merely" a braid of wires around a EPDM core with an overall jacket around it. On the other hand, it is a carefully made complex of delicate conductors, individually enameled after being annealed dead-soft, and they required a modification to my machine so that they didn't break while being applied. "Superleggera" translates, from Italian, to mean "super lightweight" - and this is also part of the complex simplicity of the design. It is so lightweight that it will not act as a resonant "string" attached to your component. It's as limp as a wet noodle, light as a feather, and thin as spaghetti. For those of you who "know" that only big, fat honkin' cables are best ... this is most certainly not for you (nor are any of my other cables, for that matter)." Chris' description of "limp as a wet noodle" is pretty accurate. These are like XLR connectors attached to shoelaces! But the sound is fantastic for this surprising cable. If I didn't have Chris' Airwave XLR cables, these would be in use now. My price includes ConUS shipping (US sale only please) and PayPal fees. Thanks, Todd - necroscope
