It is NOT coaxial! Yes, yes, I know - that's unheard of in digital audio. But, I'm here to tell you that the design not only works, but it works extremely well! Some of the initial tests have the Boomslang easily outperforming some of the most expensive cables you can find on the market, hands-down. In fact, the Boomslang digital cable WON FIRST PLACE in a shootout of eleven different high-fidelity digital cables, some costing 5x as much as the Boomslang!! Then the Boomslang then went on to win the "Best of 2018" award with Audio Bacon! Snake River Audio's Boomslang Series of digital cable is hand-crafted one at a time with meticulous attention to detail. Snake River Audio starts by taking their own high-quality, pure silver (.999) Single-Solid-Core wire. Then after extensive tests and trials, they determined that the minimum length of a Boomslang cable should be 1.37m. They claim this is to avoid the very common issues of jitter and loss of focus that other digital cables suffer from. What I can tell you is this is the best digital wire I heard in my system for at least 2X the price and other than in the off-hand case of there being a component mismatch (which I've yet to hear occur) I cannot imagine someone not loving these 1.37 meter, solid-core, silver wire, digital wire with WBT 0114 Cu RCAs on both ends, Note: The buyer is responsible for shipping and insurance costs. but I'll pay them in the 48 Cont. states of the US or in Canada if my asking price is met. This is a 1.37-meter pair of cryo-treated, solid-core, silver, digital wire that uses RCA plugs on both ends. As always I've attempted to be as honest as possible in my description of the Boomslang digital wire. To me the wire looks like #9 "Excellent/Like New" but in order to prevent any hassles down the line if a very picky buyer purchases them, I'm selling them as #8 "Very Good" as the rubber covering at the end by the WBT 0114 Cu RCAs does show a little usage as you can see in the photos. That said, the photo is of the actual pair of Boomslang digital wire you'll be receiving, and I will happily send any additional photos of the Boomslang via text if so desired to any potential buyers.
