Low serial number (0192)Slight scratchiness in volume pot. Emailed w Mike. He said it was a pretty big job to replace and it’s sealed (I think) so no deoxit. I’ve had this and been using it for more than a year and it just never bothered me. Excellent bit of kit. Sounds excellent. Has new groove tubes in it. At or near asking price will include a pair of new 6H1P EI rocket tubes and some NOS W German RCA’s. I’ve never plugged in either. I bought them thinking I’d swap them out but I’m just not a huge tube roller. For overall impression of use I bought from the original owner. He said if was in a closet for many years and that’s how he rationalized the scratchiness in the pot. I just replaced (July 2020) the original sovteks as they were developing some inrush noise. Amp immediately went back to dead quiet w tube change. I use this thing 4-5 times a week and have never had a problem.
