An organic, clear mid-range; a detailed yet sublime top end; and quality bass.
Beautiful polished black Italian granite sides form an inert enclosure for purity of sound. Photos do not do these beauties justice - the polished granite appears plain black in the photos, but in person they display mica and quartz detail.These are moderately easy to drive as the woofers have no cross-over, and the tweeters only an L-pad. I drive them to satisfying levels with 45 Watt SET amps. Jim Thompson of EgglestonWorks drives his pair with a Rogue Cronus Magnum integrated. Comments from a Stereo Times review:
