Not sure what happened the 60 years before I had them but they've only seen low watt tube amps from me. They sound marvelous and enjoyed every minute with them. I am cobbling together an Altec A5 VOTT and using the bigger format Altec CD's. So, I need to free up some funds and move forward. Last year one of the original diaphragms died. I sent to GPA for a new diaphragm install . They now have matching new GPA diaphragms and a recent re-mag and check up from Bill/GPA.
