These have been fully restored, re-coned and re-magnetized by Bill Hanushak at Great Plains Audio. I had originally sent my 604C down to him to be restored, and he had a 604D at his shop and said he would restore them to perform as identical units with the specs of a 604-8G which was perfect for my original plan of making Stonehenge III cabinets for them. So what you have is a pair of 604-8G's but housed in the frame of a 604 C and D, which are identical with the exception of a slightly different color of green paint, plus better frames and magnets than the stock 8G's.
They have very low hours on them and driven by either a Bottlehead 300B amp, a CJ MV55 wired for triode, or a McIntosh MC30, and have always been stored indoors. They are in perfect working order. I have finally settled on my modded La Scala's and need to sell some stuff before I get too old to know any better! Price is for the pair.
