With the 3 inch voice coils, these 7 inch mid/bass drivers go very deep, are well controlled & have fantastic low bass response with plenty of punch & dynamics! Natural sounding mids & extended highs with the excellent Morel fabric dome tweeters. No fatiguing or harsh sounding metal dome tweets here! Usually, when I first hear a new pair of loudspeakers with metal dome tweeters, I say "Wow, listen to those highs". Shortly afterwards, I say..., WOW!, OUCH!!... LISTEN TO THOSE HIGHS!!!... OUCH!!! (Can you tell I'm not a big metal tweeter fan?) The series crossovers that I have in this model use much smaller inductors than a standard woofer crossover, (which sucks up lots of power & good sound!), so they are more efficient than speakers with a conventional regular crossover. Also, they do not have any capacitors or resistors in the circuit with the tweeters which allows for way better mids & highs with a wider & deeper sound stage. Absolutely no need for really expensive cap upgrades that add big $$'s to the price of other loudspeaker systems. The loudspeaker enclosures are fine furniture grade quality cabinets personally hand built by me in California (not overseas!) and are covered in your choice of genuine wood veneers, then lacquered or hand rubbed & oiled.
