I have too many sets of headphones and am trying to clear the herd. This is a nice pair of Mr Speakers Alpha Dog headphones which are an audiophile mod of a Fostex model (lots of info re Mr Speakers work on the web). I've used them with both tube and solid state dedicated headphone amps as well as with speaker jacks from other stereo equipment. They sound great and are very well rounded.
