The DS Audio Master 1 is one of the best cartridge / phonostage combinations in the world. It was DS Audio's top of the line until the DS Audio Grand Master was released at a price of $60,000.00. The DS Audio Master 1 has been raved about by top reviewers all over the world as well as users in the forums. It is incredibly unique sounding compared to other cartridges. It is more like listening to master tape than to vinyl. Pops, ticks and scratching sounds are much less prevalent with the DS Audio Master 1. Sonically this cartridge is a marvel. There is an unmatched presence and immediacy over any other cartridge I have ever owned.Both the EQ and cartridge are in excellent condition.
