Make me a reasonable offer! I just picked up the non improved version, so this great sounding SME 3009 series II Improved version with detachable headshell is up for grabs. It looks great as you see in the images and it really sound wonderful. Comes with original cable, rider weight, armrest, counterweight and anti-skating weight included. There is an aftermarket headshell included(not original SME hardware). There’s a slight scuff on the arm tube where it meets the armrest. The tonearm’s rider weight is missing the set screw. Rider weight spring and set screw available at SMETONEARMS dot com for $12. The arm lift works and stays in the up position most of the time. As far as the Sonics are concerned, this arm sounds incredible. This is a serious, high quality instrument, and it definitely deserves the high praise it gets on the net. No issues with sound quality and this one sounds impressive. I’ve used it with Shure VST V, V-15 type III, and even Denon DL-103 with excellent results.Shipping in lower 48 included in my asking price.
