Welcome,I am selling a group of 8 Sylvania 5932 tubes. These are probably the most rugged tubes in the 6L6 5881 KT66 family. There are 3 versions of this tube. This group is all type 1, which is the earliest and most favored type. Manufactured for the US military exclusively by Sylvania from 1949 to 1952, they have large curved black plates and dual square getters on top. Types 2 and 3 have square or box plates, making them easy to distinguish. Here is a description from a famous online tube seller: "A military type of 6L6GA, short and very fat, thick glass, blackplates, with large brown micanol bases. They are built to take a beating, and may be a long lasting choice if replacing any of the 6L6 types. Said to be among the best sounding outside of the 6L6GC blackplate types, but they are very scarce. $70 single. $160 pair." I can't guarantee how they will work in your specific equipment. They were fine in my Raysonic SP-66 and my Onix SP-3. I just have entirely too many tubes. The bases are indeed fat at over 1.5 inches diameter, so you may need socket savers/extenders if your sockets are recessed. All 8 tubes test very good at 85% or better on my Sencore emissions tester. They are negative for shorts and grid leakage, and ace the life test. Price is $25 per tube. I will consider discounts for purchase of multiple items.
