Sylvania 6sn7 and VT-231 tubes. 2-hole matched pairs, wartime manufacture. Pairs #2 and #3 are military tubes shipped in white boxes. All have black T-shaped plates. All test NOS or near-NOS and very strong. Some show signs of use (“burn” marks on the top glass, see photos). See listing for test results and date codes. The sonics of each pair were tested in my preamp. These Sylvanias have extended highs and a very clear, realistic midrange. With very tight bass. A wide/deep, detailed, 3 dimensional sound. Most forum posts list these same qualities.
