Up for sale, classic Luxman PD 264 turntable. Direct drive deluxe Japanese table. Rosewood-look veneer looks good. Tonearm is Micro Seiki MA-303, replacing the original, over-complicated and somewhat plastic-y auto lift-up arm. Headshell is a magnesium ADC with a repaired lift. New silver litz cartridge leads. Table sounds very good. Platter and mat are genuine Luxman, from a PD 272. Strobe speed control shows stable speed at 33.3 rpm. NEW clear dust cover. Power supply capacitors replaced with new for longevity. They were larger so a cover made for the bottom (doesn't show from above). Because the switch on the old original tonearm was removed, a new push button switch was added to the front, looks close to a factory type (see pics). Controls cleaned. All manual. New phono cables. Spindle lubricated. Platter edge polished but shows a few marks. Precision all-metal Micro Seiki tonearm balances perfectly, and moves freely with no play or binding. Everything is tight and precise. Arm very adjustable. Install your own cartridge, no cartridge included.
