Here is a very nice VTL Super deluxe full function preamp. This does both MM and MC inputs to the phono. Unit has been rewired with silver plated copper, new ALPS Blue Velvet volume and balance pots, new toggle switches, and a number of caps were changed. Wire work is direct to the preamp boards bypassing the traces on the main circut board. This makes for better sound quality and eliminates potential problems. Additionally, the grounding has been upgraded and the unit is very quiet. I rate this as a 7 since it is not pristene but the face is clean and all paint is there (see Pics).
This has a seperate power supply (dual Mono) that is very heavy for its size.
This unit was screwed with prior to my ownership and you will notice some holes on the rear at the RCA jacks. extra RCA plugs were removed and the unit was brought back to stock configuration.
This is a plug and play unit that is ready for the next 20 yrs of use.
