Adcom GFA-5500 for sale.2nd owner, originally purchased to drive a pair of HSU TN1220HO subs. Rarely & lightly used in
that capacity, in a 2 channel, music only system. Also used occasionally as a main amp, which
worked surprisingly well. - 200 watts per channel, 8 ohms
- 350 watts per channel, 4 ohms
- large power supply filter capacitance, large toroidal transformer
- one pair of single-ended inputs, onle pair of speaker binding posts Faily good shape and fully functional. Couple of small scratches, 2 fins have a scrape, missing one
of the rubber plugs on the right side of the unit. There are 3 rubber plugs on each side of the amp
which appear to fill threaded holes. Perhaps rack mount ears were an option ? I have the original box, owners manual is a reprint from the Adcom pdf, no power cord.
Need to find an outer box if the amp is shipped. Price: $300 OBO (plus shipping), local pickup preferred. PayPal, check/money order delays shipping until cleared by bank.
Packed weight is ~50lbs. - shipping could be expensive depending on the location (US 48 states only) and will be paid by the buyer.
