Spendor 1/2e with stands. Purchased new in 2001. These are the somewhat rare and beautiful Burr Walnut (my wife wants me to keep them but I need to downsize.)These were used lovingly in a tube set-up in a smoke free and child free home, listened to classical. Two small issues
1) a small piece of veneer on the bottom started to separate when I was moving a speaker because of the 'blue sticky dot' these are supplied with the stands to ensure proper mounting, this was repaired and looks very good and is not visible being on the bottom of the speaker
2) a small nick on the top side edge about 3/8"long and 1/16" deep
(see picture) really not very noticeable.
Sensitivity 88db, 8 ohms
These are great speakers with a wonderful mid range, lots of good reviews, classic British speaker. These speakers work very well with tubes.
I would prefer local pick-up but will ship. I am willing to drive a reasonable distance to deliver, auditions/questions welcome.
