HSU TN1220HO subs, HSU High End Crossover and HSU Bass Optimizer.I purchased the TN1220HO subs used a few years back. Being picky, I decided to
replace the drivers and ordered new ones from HSU ($340 for the pair). Nothing
was wrong with the original drivers, but I just wanted piece of mind.
Incredible subs and a shame they're no longer made. HSU had a bass track of
supposedly the lowest recorded organ bass. Played back over the 1220s, you really
couldn't heard the tone, it was that low, but the pressure from the note was
quite discomforting.
I used these on occassion in a 2/ch music only system, no home theater. HSU explains the functions of the High End Crossver and Bass Optimizer: http://www.hsuresearch.com/products/high-end-crossover.html http://www.hsuresearch.com/products/bass-optimizer.html
The subs frequency response: +/-1 dB 20Hz up to -6dB at crossover freq.
500 watts maximum short term power handling, 4 ohm load, 90dB sensitivity.
12" diameter, 51" high with floor spikes attached, 40 lbs.
I will include these crossover frequency modules: 43Hz, 75Hz, 91Hz & 109Hz.
I cannot find the AC adapter for the Bass Optimizer but will be included should
it turn up. Sub tubes are in decent shape, one is missing the HSU emblem and has a few
of runs in the fabric covering.
I have the original manuals for all the components. Price: $400 for the complete setup, will not separate, please do not ask.
This is local pickup only from 07438, there are no shipping boxes.
