The Proton 440 is a very sensitive and extremely quiet AM/FM stereo digital tuner. It has the Schotz noise reduction circuitry which delivers an unusually clear, clean sound with strong bass. Works perfectly. I would conservatively rate it cosmetically an 8.5 on a 10 point scale. Comes with original packaging and manual.
This was part of a second stereo system located in our den. Because it was used so infrequently, we are replacing that system with an audio/video set up.
