Didn't think I'd do this, but hardly using my speaker-based system anymore, so selling one of my two Exogal Comet DAC's. The other is used in my headphone system, which is used almost exclusively. So some system consolidations I've been doing continue.....This is a fantastic DAC IMO, as mentioned I have two of them. I also used to have an Auralic Vega DAC, another great one. But I consolidated 2 headphone systems to 1, and sold the Vega. It did some high end "air" better than the Exogal, but I just thought the Exogal was so musical, I didn't miss the Vega at all when it sold. Oh, and BTW, it has preamp capabilities, including having an analog input that it digitizes to 24/96 and sends to the DAC. My unit has the upgraded PS, I bought it as a demo package. Now for the special deal....I am participating in a 5k walk/run for an organization called Gift Of Life (giftoflife.org) in May. If someone is interested in the DAC and doesn't mind splitting up payments, I will drop the DAC $100 if you pay some to my fund-raising charity (by you doing it, you can also get a tax deduction). So $300 to charity, and $1200 to me. I will send details if you want to go this route. Please read the reviews on this DAC, they are universally very positive. I am definitely keeping my other one, it drives 2 separate headphone amps (SE and balanced can output simultaneously) and sounds fantastic! Sale will include the unit, PS & umbilical, remote (needs a battery i think; they also offer a tablet App to control it via Bluetooth, that's better), and basic power cord. I didn't get the manual with mine but it's available online. Marking the condition a 7 because of a gouge in the back of the DAC as seen in the second picture.
