For Sale: Sony HAP-Z1ES HDD Audio Player (NEW PRICE for a quick sale!)I am the second owner of this amazing player. I purchased it from another audiophile who only had it a short time (a month or two, I think) before deciding to buy another one that was modded. This HAP, of course, is stock all the way. It is in excellent condition and plays wonderfully; however, in the spirit of full disclosure, it did develop some lines across the display screen as seen in the photos. This does not affect the sound or operation in any way other than visually. Since I use the Sony HD Remote tablet app to control the HAP, the lines are a non-issue for me. The price is reflective of this screen issue. It also has a few minor scrapes on the top cover that I tried to capture in the pictures. The front is in near perfect condition and the smudges you see in the pics are dust/finger prints that I didn't get fully wiped off. This unit would be a solid 8 9/10 on the condition scale if not for these minor issues. But because them, I rate it as a 7-8/10. I have the original packaging and remote, all in excellent shape. This player sounds great and has served me very well. I love its simplicity and great sound. I am only selling because I have fallen for a much more expensive player and need the funds to pursue the purchase.
