I have tried many room treatment including several resonators. I gave up on absorbers, traps, digital systems and then heard the SR Arts. I used these for several years and then heard of the Ziplexes that are made in Holland from a European friend.Zilplex Products was good enough to sell me a set. I have two audio rooms; one in Texas that is large and one in New Mexico that is only 13 x 10 x 8 feet. It is there that I first tried them as the sound was not good. I remember first trying the Zilplexes with the SR Arts still in the room. The sound was different but not great. I took the SR ARTs out and first installed the Zilplex ceiling unit. I well remember playing Diana Krall's "A Case of you on her Live in Paris album. It was playing at the time and sound quite good but constricted by the room. As I put the ceiling Zilplex up, I thought the sound had changed. I got down and sat is my best chair. Frankly I had never heard such an improvement. The sound was as though I was there with no room side or ceiling other thank that of the hall where she was playing. I have never been tempted to try anything else. Often guests have asked when I readjusted one Zilplex that tends to move to having the cup flat on its holder, "What did you just do!" or "Unbelievable!" Many have since bought a set. We are selling the New Mexico house is why I am selling the set I had there as I was told that two sets would be overkill for my Texas room. The price is plus shipping and PayPal fees. Includes:
The eleven silver 1/2 inch cups, three bass cups, one ceiling cup, and all their stands in the original box.
