This is the predecessor of limited edition Guarneri Palladio which you probably will never find in US as Asia market will swallow them all in no time. I bought this pair, the exact same finished as the Palladio w/o the Palladio badge, from authorized dealer in Singapore when I was on my oversea assignment late last year and only played them for ~20 hours since new. Due to room constraint, I can't keep both my Amati Homage and Guarneri Memento so something has to go. Wife likes the Amati look even though Guaneri Memento with JL F113 beats Amati hands down so this special Guaneri will have to go to next happy owner.
Everyone knows Sonus Faber is better at building 2-way speakers, Guarneri Homage and Extrema are what makes Sonus Faber famous and I have owned both. Guarneri Memento is a big step up from Guaneri Homage, stop the denial and buy a pair of Guaneri Memento to hear what you have been missing.
