I purchased directly this unit directly from the manufacturer in Hong Kong. This DAC is capable of being set by the user to either NOS, 2x, 4x or 8x oversampling. Kingwa uses four of the very highly regarded Texas Instruments, R-2R ladder PCM1704U-K chips per channel! For a very accurate review of this DAC please read John H. As you can see Kingwa believes the power supply is as important, if not more important than his choice of using the Texas Instruments PCM1704U-K chips. If this exact same DAC was made by Levinson, Krell, McIntosh etc. this would easily be a $5000+ DAC!
