Excellent Rotel RT-1080 for Sale- This is one of the best tuners you will ever hear. Several major improvements have been made to it:
1. A Bill Ammons Filter board was added to replace the narrow IF filter. It is wired to power up only when you engage the narrow mode
2. All remaining 10.7 MHz ceramics have been replaced by swept filters from Ammons
3. All key capacitors have been replaced by large, high voltage Nichigon KZ MUSE caps or polystyrene
4. PS cap replaced with a large Nichicon KZ MUSE
5. Audio Op-Amp replaced & socketed with the same AD Op-Amp used in the RH-10T but in the dual version (827)
6. An of course a full alignmentIf you buy it & don’t agree that it sounds wonderful, you can return it after 3 days. You pay all shipping. It is flat out to 20,000 cycles and the distortion is at 0.07%. It has incredible & extended bass. If you have high quality broadcasters in your area, I think you will be impressed.
