This is a Pioneer Elite DV-47A universal DVD player modified by Dan Wright of ModWright with his phenomenal Universal Truth mods, with the outboard tube rectified power supply PS 9.0.This Pioneer unit is truly “universalâ€. It plays DVD, CD, SACD and DVD-Audio. The unit has also been updated with the latest Pioneer firmware update, fixing all known issues. It plays all the different disks perfectly. The mods include: 1. Universal Truth Mods (tubed analog output stage – 2CH), using two 5687 tubes
2. AC Bybee, Analog Slipstream Bybee and Digital Slipstream Bybee
3. Level II Transport Mods
4. Outboard tube rectified power supply PS 9.0 for the analog stage (5AR4 tube) This unit is in mint condition. It has the Pioneer transport that is used by many high end companies. The Modwright modifications make this unit comparable to any of the world class units. It comes with the following: - Two stock IEC power cords, one for the unit and one for the PS 9.0.
- The power umbilical from Revelation Audio Labs to connect the PS 9.0 to the player
- Manual, remote control and original box.
- Two 5687 tubes, and one 5AR4 tube, all less than 6 months old. They should last another 3-4 years. Everything will be double boxed and shipped in a single box.
