2 box, phono preamp with 2 12ax7 (Gold Areo branded Chinese)tubes. Very good basic tube phono preamp with seperate power supply. Responds well to tube and powercord upgrades. It sounded great with the Brimar and Telefunken 12ax7's I used in it and a Shunyata Platinum Plus pc. I upgraded to a Cary SLP 70.****Sorry it's in the wrong section as its only a phono preamp*****
